Content Intern

Role Overview

We’re looking for a sharp, detail-oriented intern to support our MSN slideshow content operations. This role focuses on content assistance, image sourcing, formatting, and quality checks for slideshow-based articles published on MSN and similar distribution platforms.

If you enjoy working with visual content, have a strong eye for detail, and want hands-on experience in digital media publishing, this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities

Content Support

• Create MSN slideshow articles

• Support editors by organizing story points, captions, and slide order

• Ensure content aligns with platform requirements (tone, length, compliance)

Image Sourcing & Management

• Source high-quality, rights-compliant images from approved platforms (Wikimedia Commons, official social media handles, public domain sources, etc.)

• Verify image licenses, credits, and captions

• Ensure image relevance, clarity, and visual consistency across slides

• Resize, rename, and organize images as per internal guidelines

Platform & Quality Checks

• Ensure slideshows meet MSN publishing guidelines

Cross-check:

• Image-to-slide relevance
• Caption accuracy
• Grammar and basic formatting
• Flag issues related to copyright, duplication, or low-quality visuals

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in English Literature, Journalism, Mass Communication, or a related field.

• Strong command of written English (US style preferred)

• Good visual judgment- ability to identify clean, relevant, and high-impact images

• Basic understanding of copyright and image licensing (training will be provided)

• Familiarity with Google Docs and Drive

• Ability to follow detailed SOPs and platform-specific guidelines

• Detail-oriented, organized, and deadline-driven

Stipend
