Job description

We are looking for a Senior Accountant to join the International Finance team. This position is key to the leadership of the company's accounting and financial area, guaranteeing the correct reporting of financial figures on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis, under local regulations and US GAAP.

Main Responsibilities

  • Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities in accordance with local regulations and US GAAP.
  • Review and reconcile intercompany transactions and balances.
  • Administer and update fixed asset investment policies.
  • Manage the recording and amortization of prepaid expenses.
  • Determine reserves for goods returns and bad debts.
  • Analyze and correctly record the effects of deferred revenue.
  • Perform periodic bank reconciliations (local and foreign currency).
  • Track fiscal account registrations (VAT, Income Tax, withholdings, Payroll Tax, Social Security, Housing Fund).
  • Supervise automatic and manual accounting entries.
  • Support in the quarterly and annual financial planning of the entity.
  • Update the company's accounting policies and processes.
  • Respond to internal and external auditor requests.
  • Prepare monthly financial reports for the US corporate office and the Finance Director.


Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fields.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in accounting. Big Four experience is desirable.
  • Solid knowledge of US GAAP and Local GAAP; experience with dual accounting (two ledgers).
  • Proficiency in SAP, BI platforms, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Advanced English.
  • Team management experience.
  • Public company reporting experience is desirable.
  • Knowledge of BPC, Tableau, or other BI tools is valued.
