Accountant (Junior)

SALARY

Monthly gross salary: MX$ 20,000

DESCRIPTION

An Accounting Firm is looking for a Junior Accountant to join its team. This is a great opportunity to gain training, advanced education, and work experience in US tax accounting. During the initial period of employment, you will receive extensive training.

Main tasks will include: reviewing documents, data entry in Excel, performing accounting calculations in Excel, and preparing federal and state tax returns. After receiving additional training, tasks will advance to preparing financial statements, preparing advanced returns, and other more complex tasks.

MAIN TASKS:

• Work with various financial documents, such as bank statements
• Organization and calculation of data in Excel
• Preparation and review of US federal and state tax returns
• Calculate annual returns for individuals and legal entities
• Prepare Financial Statements
• Performance of other assigned tasks

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• University degree in Accounting.
• 3-4 years of experience in accounting, preferably in accounting firms

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

• Good command of the MS Office suite (Advanced Excel)
• Excellent analytical, creative skills, and ability to learn through new tools.

• Ability to maintain client information confidentiality.
• Highly efficient, organized, punctual, very detail-oriented, capable of multitasking and managing time effectively.

SCHEDULE

Regular schedule: Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM;

During tax season (from March 1st to April 18th and from September 1st to October 18th), the applicant may be required to work overtime, including weekends.
