Chief Accountant

We are looking for a dedicated, organized, and experienced ACCOUNTING DEPARTMENT COORDINATOR with solid experience in the financial-accounting field.

Requirements

• Completed higher education in economics – Finance / Accounting
• CECCAR member – mandatory criterion
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the field
• Solid knowledge of Romanian fiscal and accounting legislation
• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
• Organizational, communication, and leadership skills
• Excellent communication skills with a proactive attitude
• Availability for work EXCLUSIVELY on-site

Responsibilities:

You will perform month-end closing operations, calculate taxes and duties, prepare tax declarations, prepare and verify the trial balance and balance sheet

You will verify the correctness of accounting document entries in the accounting software (accounting monographs regarding internal and external suppliers, bank register, cash register, expense reports, prepayments, fixed assets, inventory items, etc.)

You will verify monthly the correctness of the data in the sales journal and purchase journal

You will correct VAT errors

You will monitor the status of clients and suppliers

You will verify the correct preparation of monthly and annual declarations (100, 101, 300, 390, 394, intrastat, SAFT, etc.)

You will participate in the annual inventory, as well as periodic inventories

You will periodically perform financial-accounting analysis of the companies in the group
