Accounting Chief

Responsibilities:

• Coordinates and supervises the accounting team.
• Ensures accurate and timely preparation of monthly and annual financial statements.
• Closes the accounting books on a monthly and annual basis.
• Ensures compliance with fiscal legislation and accounting standards in force.
• Manages and verifies accounting operations: treasury accounts, clients, suppliers, fixed assets, inventory, and bank reconciliation.
• Prepares and submits mandatory tax declarations to authorities.
• Develops and updates internal accounting procedures and policies.
• Maintains correct organization and archiving of all accounting documents.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related fields.
• Professional certifications (e.g. CECCAR member) are an advantage.
• Prior experience as accounting chief, senior accountant or similar role.
• Solid knowledge of accounting and fiscal legislation.
• Experience in team coordination.
• Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in accounting software/ERP systems.
• Strong analytical skills and accuracy in financial reporting.
• Attention to detail and high responsibility.
• Coordination and leadership abilities.
• Organization, proactivity, and ability to respect deadlines.
• Effective communication and professional ethics.
