Job description

In this position, you will be responsible for providing specialized technical support for Power products, managing complex cases, conducting root cause analyses, and developing customized technical solutions in coordination with our factories, suppliers, and regional and global teams.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide technical support to customers and Vertiv's service team through specialized consultations with technical libraries, Vertiv factories, and related suppliers for Power segment products.
• Know Vertiv's dedicated communication channels (e-mail, SharePoint, Life, and 0800) and the fundamentals for conducting routine tasks, following a service protocol, and providing detailed technical responses about installed equipment.
• Participate in regional and global technical forums, interact with other business units in English and manufacturing centers for root cause analysis investigations.
• Conduct an analysis to prepare the Services area to receive new products and projects in the region, to ensure the team has training, spare parts, and other key points for the customer experience.
• Provide specialized and customized technical solutions to customers in conjunction with Vertiv's commercial services team, including the analysis of work hours required for projects.
• Support complex and in-depth analysis cases coming from the technical support analyst team.
• Attend product and software courses or training at Vertiv training centers or factories.
• Perform remote technical analysis based on Vertiv documentation and regional standards.
• Provide suggestions for updating TKO and other Vertiv libraries based on inquiries received from customers and Vertiv's service team.
• Conduct and present root cause analyses and technical documentation to clients regarding Vertiv solutions and support strategies.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Desired 3 to 5 years of experience in similar roles in the area, either in maintenance of electrical or electronic equipment.
• Technical knowledge in UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) systems.
• Excellent command of computer tools such as Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Skills in text writing and a good level of the local language.
• Knowledge of technical standards for Quality and HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment).
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and proactivity skills.
Desirable Qualifications:
• Desired 5 to 7 years of experience in similar roles in the area, either in maintenance of electrical or electronic equipment.
• Knowledge in monitoring solutions and BMS (Building Management System) systems.
• Excellent command of computer tools such as SmartSheet and Power BI.
• Preferred experience in Data Center environments.
EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS
• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Telecommunications, or related areas.
• Advanced English (reading, writing) and intermediate conversational level.
