Consulting Team Lead (m/w/d) Atlassian, Cloud & DevOps Solutions

We are looking for a leadership personality with strong communication and the vision of a high-performance team to lead our Atlassian- and cloud-based projects actively as Consulting Team Lead (m/w/d) at XALT. XALT Business Consulting GmbH is an Atlassian Platinum Solution Partner with 100% DevSecOps-DNA, realizing projects in areas such as ITSM, Social Intranets, Cloud Infrastructure, and Identity Management.

Tasks

• Team leadership & delivery: Technical and organizational leadership of the consulting team – planning the deployment of consultants in Atlassian- and DevOps projects and ensuring timely, high-quality results as well as satisfied customers.
• Methodology & processes: Definition and optimization of our consulting processes and best practices within the team, as well as establishing corresponding methods and continuous improvements.
• Customer escalations: Direct point of contact for escalations – intervening when necessary, finding constructive solutions, and strengthening customer trust.
• Mentoring & enablement: Coaching and professional development of consultants – mentor in project work, supporting the team with advice and action, promoting continuous learning and best possible performance.

Requirements

• Education & experience: Completed studies in (business) informatics, business administration or comparable, as well as at least 5 years of professional experience in IT consulting or project management, with several years of leadership experience and proven project success in the IT consulting industry.
• Technical expertise: In-depth knowledge of Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence, etc.) as well as good knowledge of cloud technologies and DevOps principles; experience with identity- & access-management solutions (e.g. SSO, directory services) is a plus.
• Methodological competence: Fundamentally understanding project management and consulting methods and tools like Jira for project control; ideally familiar with agile approaches (Scrum/Kanban) and ITIL/ITSM processes.
• Customer orientation: Strong service mentality and quality awareness; experience in projects in the German-speaking region; proactive ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Leadership & soft skills: Proven leadership competence and experience in steering distributed teams; strong communicative abilities and empathy; team player with high social competence and organizational skills.
• Languages: German on a native level, as well as fluent English skills in writing and speaking.
