About the role We are seeking an experienced and strategic Consulting Solution Architect to join our team on a 6-month fixed-term contract. In this role, you will be instrumental in shaping and delivering innovative technology solutions for our diverse client base across New Zealand. You will collaborate closely with clients to understand their business challenges and translate these into robust, scalable, and future-proof technical architectures. Key Responsibilities: * Lead the design and development of comprehensive technology solutions aligned with client business objectives. * Engage with stakeholders at all levels to gather requirements, define scope, and influence technical direction. * Develop architectural blueprints, roadmaps, and detailed technical designs. * Evaluate and recommend appropriate technologies, platforms, and tools. * Provide expert advice on cloud strategies, cybersecurity, data management, and application modernization. * Oversee the technical implementation and integration of solutions, ensuring quality and adherence to architectural principles. * Mentor and guide project teams on technical best practices. * Contribute to the development of Cyma's intellectual property and service offerings. About you: * Proven experience as a Solution Architect, Technical Architect, or similar senior technical role. * Strong understanding of modern technology landscapes, including cloud computing (AWS, Azure, GCP), microservices, APIs, DevOps, and data analytics. * Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing complex enterprise-level solutions. * Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills. * Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear and concise business terms. * Experience within a consultancy environment is highly desirable. * A proactive, self-motivated individual with a passion for technology and problem-solving.
