Job description
Responsibilities
- Deliver various projects such as PD/LGD/EAD Modeling, IFRS 9, Stress Testing, Loan life-cycle models, and other Basel (or other regulations) related analyses
- Support the capability on other risk types (like market risk, operational risk, reputational risk, etc.), if required, for delivering high quality output to clients
- Lead project streams, take ownership for deliverables associated with client engagements and provide direction to juniors in developing and validating models, documentation, and presentations
- Working with presales consultants where necessary to facilitate in-depth demonstrations
- Work closely with client engagement team and sales team, including developing and presenting pre-sales materials and client proposals
- Demonstrate thoughtful leadership and show initiative and creativity in designing solutions for unique client challenges
- Understand the applicable regulations of client’s jurisdiction and incorporate them in the projects
- Constant over-achiever, highly competitive, creative, and solution-oriented
- Proven track record (at least 4 years) in credit risk to Banking clients
- Excellent understanding of the financial sector and risk management domain
- Strong credit risk analytics, model development/validation skills with ability to coach/guide less experienced analysts
- Experience with banking regulations and accounting standards, such as IFRS 9, ICAAP, Risk Appetite, Basel II & III, Stress Testing.
- Experience working with Middle Eastern Banks is a plus
- Experience into other risks like market risk, operational risk, concentration risk is a plus
- No bar on location and nationality.
