Consultant Workload Automation & Job Management (m/w/d)

We are looking for an experienced developer, who is responsible for ensuring that critical energy-related processes run reliably, automated, and compliant - even when other systems are sleeping. As Consultant Workload Automation & Job Management, you are a central success factor for stable value chains at energy suppliers.

Your focus: Transparency, fault tolerance, scalability, and quality in highly regulated environments (KRITIS).

You move in the heart of the energy industry's IT landscape and take responsibility for business-critical processes:

Energieversorger-Systemwelten & Prozesse

• Marktkommunikation (MaKo)
• Abrechnung & Fakturierung (Billing / Invoicing)
• Energiedatenmanagement (EDM, Zeitreihenverarbeitung)
• Geräte- & Zählerprozesse (Smart Metering)
• Datenbereitstellung für Reporting & Analytics
• Hintergrundprozesse in SAP IS-U, S/4HANA, BW/4HANA
• Schnittstellen zu Netzbetrieb, Kundenservice & Drittsystemen

Betrieb & Monitoring

• You operate, monitor, and stabilize modern job scheduling and workload automation platforms.
• You ensure that all batch processes along the energy industry's value chain run reliably.
• You analyze disturbances, take over incident handling, and conduct root cause analyses.
• You are responsible for the smooth execution of daily end-of-day processing and critical energy processes.
• You ensure that agreed-upon SLAs are met against our customers.

Automatisierung & Jobketten-Design

• You design, create, and optimize jobs and job chains.
• You model event-driven workflows including dependencies and prioritizations.
• You develop and maintain automation scripts (e.g. UC4 Script, Bash, PowerShell, SQL).
• You migrate, expand, and modernize existing automation landscapes.
• You build new end-to-end process chains, e.g. for market communication or EDIFACT flows.

Service Management & Qualität

• You work ITIL-conform in incident-, problem-, and change-procedures.
• You create and maintain runbooks, operation manuals, and process and system documentation.
• You support in meeting SLAs, KPIs, and regulatory requirements.
• You accompany audits, e.g. in the context of KRITIS, data protection, and regulation.
