Senior Consultant / Manager - Consulting in Transformation, Organization, and Project Management

Why This Role Exists Now

Ad Valoris is changing its model. For twenty years, we have been helping general management of French-speaking Switzerland, public and private, to see clearly, to decide, and to onboard their teams. Since 2025, we practice augmented consulting: AI helps us to understand better, to go further, not just to produce faster.

The firm is in full growth: new management teams entrust us with their challenges and a second office is opening in Lausanne. We are looking for two personalities ready to join this human adventure: a dynamic and committed team, within which you can contribute to the development of the firm and forge your own path.

What You Will Do

You will join the firm as a senior consultant or manager, depending on your experience. On an assignment, you can assume several responsibilities; in particular, you will design the approach for each assignment, ensure it addresses the client's real problem, and manage the relationship with the client throughout the mission.

• Understand before proposing. Read the client's situation, its actors, and its unspoken issues, before arriving in a meeting.
• Solve the right problem. Challenge the mandate when it does not address the real issue, and defend a committed recommendation.
• Co-construct and move forward. Provide a first version early, have the client work on it until they are co-authors, and lead sessions alone, including on complex topics, in demanding environments and with stakeholders of diverse sensitivities.
• Create value for the client. Understand better, go deeper in the analysis, and materialize: what matters are the sustainable improvements that the client observes in their organization.
• Grow the firm. Transmit, challenge, and accept being challenged.

Two entry points, depending on your experience:

• Manager (from 10 years of experience). Mission architect from your arrival: you will frame and manage mandates from start to finish, and you will supervise one or two consultants while continuing to produce. You will participate in the firm's management: methods, recruitment, knowledge capitalization. Explicit trajectory towards a role where you will be responsible for the results and growth of several accounts.
• Senior Consultant (from 5 years of experience). Autonomous within a defined scope, you will conduct your interviews and workshops alone or in a team, and you will be a reference in augmented consulting. Explicit trajectory towards the role of mission architect.

Augmented Consulting, As We Practice It

Augmented consulting is not about using AI to produce faster. It is about using it to understand better, without ever letting production advance faster than understanding. The test is simple: what have you done with the time that AI has freed up? More deliverables mean outsourcing to a machine. More presence with the client and greater depth of analysis mean augmented consulting.

What We Are Looking For

• A Master's degree or engineering degree, and five to fifteen years of experience in consulting in organization, strategy, change management, or program management.
• Real practice of augmented consulting: you know how to state what you have discarded in an AI's response and why, and you refuse to produce what you do not stand behind.
• The ability to make decisions with incomplete information, and to adjust that decision as you go, as the situation becomes clearer.
• Reliability and integrity: you speak frankly and you keep your word.
• For the Manager entry point: mandates managed from start to finish, consultants whom you have helped to grow, and trusting relationships with your clients.
• Native French speaker or equivalent, excellent writing skills, fluent English, German an asset. The French-speaking Swiss landscape is familiar to you.

What We Are Not Looking For, To Save You Time

• A senior who wants to supervise without producing anymore. Here, everyone is in meetings, including partners.
• A consultant who sees AI as a productivity tool, or who distrusts it by principle.
• A specialist in a single method who wants to apply it to every client.

How We Recruit

Three interviews, a motivated response at each stage.

• 1. Thirty minutes via video call to understand why Ad Valoris, and to answer your questions.
• 2. One hour with two of our employees: an open discussion about your motivations and professional project, and about what the firm can offer you.
• 3. A case study with management, drawn from a real situation: with AI, in a limited time, then a presentation to the partners.
