Consultant Krankenhausfinanzierung/Budgetverhandler (m/w/d) in Dortmund

The Hospital Association Westphalia e.V. represents the interests of over 60 hospitals from North Rhine-Westphalia and Lower Saxony against politics and health insurance companies. The task of KHZW e.V. is to accompany member hospitals during wage negotiations, provide advice on fundamental issues, promote the exchange of experiences or information, and thus contribute to their economic security. In the member hospitals, approximately 1.5 million patients are currently being treated from over 60 different medical specialties. As a consultant for hospital financing/budget handler, you will be responsible for supporting our member hospitals in their financial planning and budgeting processes. This includes analyzing and evaluating financial data, identifying trends and areas for improvement, and developing strategies to optimize financial performance. You will also work closely with the finance department of the member hospitals to ensure that financial plans are aligned with the overall goals and objectives of the hospital. In addition, you will be responsible for monitoring and reporting on key financial indicators, such as revenue and expenses, and providing recommendations for improving financial performance. The ideal candidate should have a degree in business administration or a related field, and several years of experience in financial planning and budgeting, preferably in the healthcare sector. You should also have excellent analytical and communication skills, be able to work independently, and be familiar with MS Office and Excel.
