Job description
aietes is a specialized management consultancy for asset managers, insurance companies, and banks. We support our clients in the introduction, further development, and operation of business-critical investment management solutions. Our focus is on SimCorp Dimension, data integration, accounting, reporting, and regulatory requirements.
To strengthen our team, we are looking for a highly analytical personality who combines technical understanding with IT affinity. You will support us in long-term maintenance and support mandates for business-critical customer solutions. The focus will be on the interfaces between SimCorp Dimension and SAP, as well as accounting, reporting, and data quality topics.
Requirements
Your tasks
- Operational support and further development of interfaces between SimCorp Dimension and SAP, coordination of booking and processing logic, support of changes and releases
- Resolution of incidents and production problems through root cause analysis, implementation of bug fixes, and documentation
- Coordination with business departments, IT, and other involved service providers
- Analysis of data from both a business and technical perspective, data processing in interfaces, and data quality issues
- Support with business-related questions in the areas of accounting, investment operations, and reporting
What you bring
- At least three years of relevant professional experience in the financial industry and/or a Big 4 firm with experience in accounting according to common accounting standards
- High IT affinity and strong technical understanding
- Experience with system interfaces, data flows, and integrations
- Good knowledge of relational databases and SQL
- Experience in reporting and analyzing complex data relationships
- Understanding of accounting, investment operations, and regulatory requirements
- Independent, structured, and analytical working style
- Professional demeanor and enjoyment of working with clients
- Good German and English language skills
- Willingness to travel
Ideally, you also have
- Experience with SimCorp Dimension
- Knowledge in the area of ABOR or IBOR
- Experience with SAP integrations and interface technologies
- Knowledge of batch processes, production support, and operational procedures
- Experience with data migrations and data transformations
