Role: Consultant Geriatrician Location: Midlands Metropolitan University Hospital Salary: Circa £105,000 - £140,000 Start Date: ASAP Sandwell and West Birmingham NHS Trust are proud to have a Brand New, State of the Art hospital as our new patient centred care giving offering for our local residents. Our new acute hospital, the Midland Metropolitan University Hospital (MMUH), opened in October 2024 and provides cutting edge care to our local population from first class, purpose-built premises which will enable us to deliver high-quality, patient-focused care. We are seeking a Consultant Geriatrician to join our multidisciplinary team and contribute to the development of our new hospital. As a Consultant Geriatrician, you will be responsible for providing high-quality medical care to older adults, and will work closely with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective care pathways. You will also be involved in the education and training of junior doctors and other healthcare professionals. The ideal candidate will be a qualified Consultant Geriatrician with a strong track record of delivering high-quality patient care. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team. You will also have a strong commitment to patient safety and quality improvement. The salary for this role is circa £105,000 - £140,000 per annum, and the start date is ASAP.
