Consultant General and Interventional Radiologist

JOB OVERVIEW Seeking a consultant diagnostic and interventional radiologist for a full time permanent position with a regional general hospital developing its radiology services. Position Highlights premier public sector hospital, 360 beds, level 2 hospital radiology department has interventional/ fluoroscopy, Ultrasound, CT, General X-Ray services and a private MRI facility is operational onsite. The service has 4 general rooms (includes 1 room in the Emergency Department), 1 Toshiba and 1 Siemens CT scanner, 1 ultrasound machine, 1 fluoroscopy machine, and 1 MRI machine. The department is seeking a consultant radiologist with expertise in diagnostic and interventional radiology, including fluoroscopy, ultrasound, CT, and MRI. The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. The consultant radiologist will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, interpreting images, and participating in departmental meetings and quality improvement initiatives.
