Aufgaben

• Development of energy supply concepts
• Development of comprehensive and sustainable energy concepts for districts, industrial sites, city quarters, and entire regions
• Thinking in systems and variants to develop the economically, ecologically, and socially most sensible option for energy supply for districts
• Planning of energy systems from conception to LP 4
• Techno-economic design
• Carrying out economic calculations
• Opportunity to develop and evaluate business and operator models in the context of the German electricity and heat market
• Project management
• Participation as part of project leadership with perspective for independent project leadership
• Business Development
• Opportunity to medium- and long-term expand the performance spectrum of our Energy Consulting Team as part of our Cities Consulting Teams at one of our German locations
• Supporting clients and project management

Qualifikation

• Degree in a relevant field, such as energy technology, regenerative energy systems, process engineering, building services engineering, or economics
• Experience in designing energy supply systems for districts and cities
• Proven knowledge and experience in planning and implementing renewable energy systems, heat pumps, district heating, and power generators
• Experience in modeling and simulating technical systems
• Knowledge of the framework conditions for funding in Germany
• Experience and understanding of building-integrated and usage-dependent energy systems, standards for energy efficiency, calculations of greenhouse gas emissions, and legal framework conditions
• Experience with simulation software, planning software, and MS Office
• Experience with district heating planning software, GIS, and MS Project are desirable
• Very good language skills in German and English
