Integral Access Consultant

For Gemeente Berkelland, we are looking for an Integral Access Consultant. You strengthen the self-reliance of residents in matters related to care, well-being, upbringing, work and income, and social support. To achieve this, you will use your informal network and work together with neighborhood partners. You know what's going on in the neighborhood and recognize where opportunities and solution directions lie, which may include exceptions. As a result, you enable residents to shape and govern their living environment.

As a new colleague within the access team, you have knowledge of the Wmo, Jeugdwet, and Participatiewet. You are also familiar with topics such as finances, housing, and related legislation. You can quickly switch gears and are able to ask for help to clarify the request, where good communication skills are essential.

As access consultant, you are the first point of contact. Through a broad telephone-based integral intake, you investigate the resident's request. Here, you handle both complex and less complex issues and stand alongside the resident. You provide information and/or advice on provisions and legislation, and make use of existing provisions. Requests that can be resolved in advance will be handled by yourself.
