Income Consultant

For Gemeente Westerveld we are looking for an Income Consultant.
As an Income Consultant, you are a judge, guide, and connector.
You are responsible for evaluating, granting, and managing allowances within the Participation Act. You conduct intake and progress conversations, set up arrangements, and monitor the legitimacy of provided services. While working closely with colleagues from Wmo, Youth, and Work — because Gemeente Westerveld believes in cohesion and cooperation.
You have direct contact with residents, identify bottlenecks, and think together about suitable solutions. You work in accordance with the law, with an eye for the client's situation. You contribute to a service delivery that not only meets paper requirements but also works in practice.

• You evaluate and process applications for income benefits within the Participation Act.
• You conduct intake and progress conversations with clients.
• You set up arrangements and reports.
• You enforce legislation and signal fraud.
• You handle IB signals, mutations, and re-examinations.
• You work together with colleagues and external parties such as debt counseling and reintegration companies.

You are independent, stress-resistant, and easily switch between files, conversations, and cooperation. You feel at home in a tight-knit group of people who stand for quality, but also for humor and conviviality.

What you bring:

• A relevant HBO education (such as Social Judicial Service Delivery, Social Care or comparable).
• Experience in a similar function within the social domain is a plus.
• Knowledge of the Participation Act and GWS4all Suite.
• Communicative skills and a motivating attitude.
• The willingness to learn, grow, and contribute to a developing team.
