POSITION OVERVIEW: The Construction Trade Foreman is responsible for supervising and leading crews of electricians, carpenters, and other skilled tradespeople on construction sites. This includes ensuring compliance with safety protocols, quality control measures, and project timelines. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and tools, as well as excellent communication and leadership skills. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: • Supervise and lead crews of skilled tradespeople on construction sites • Ensure compliance with safety protocols, quality control measures, and project timelines • Coordinate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure project goals are met • Conduct site inspections and report on any issues or concerns • Develop and implement construction plans and schedules • Collaborate with other construction teams to ensure efficient and effective project delivery • Identify and address any potential safety hazards or concerns • Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders. REQUIREMENTS: • 3+ years of experience as a Construction Trade Foreman or in a similar role • Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and tools • Excellent communication and leadership skills • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities • Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work at heights • Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field an asset.
