Construction Project Manager– Competitive Salary + Benefits – Calgary, Alberta

Salary: $95,000 to $135,000, based on experience (for more senior candidates, we are happy to go up to $175,000).

With over 60 years of experience building Long-Term Care, residential, and commercial spaces, we’re looking for an experienced Project Manager to oversee full-cycle builds that make a lasting impact on communities.

As a Project Manager, you’ll lead projects from pre-construction to closeout, ensuring they’re delivered on time, within budget, and up to the highest standards. You’ll work closely with clients, consultants, and subcontractors to bring innovative, quality-driven solutions to life.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of project delivery, from tendering and scheduling to execution and closeout.
• Lead coordination with consultants, clients, and subcontractors, ensuring timely communication and collaboration.
• Oversee budgets, cost control, change orders, and forecasting to achieve financial targets.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, provincial building codes, and contractual obligations.
• Drive site progress by working closely with Superintendents and field teams to meet milestones.
• Prepare and present project status reports to senior leadership and clients.
• Foster Traugott’s culture of quality, innovation, and teamwork.

The Person

• 7+ years of progressive experience in construction project management.
• Proven success managing full-cycle builds in LTC, residential, and commercial sectors.
• Strong knowledge of Alberta and Western Canadian construction standards and practices.
• Proficiency with Procore, MS Project, or similar project management software.
• Exceptional leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Degree or diploma in Construction Management, Engineering, or related discipline preferred.
