You are responsible for the technical and administrative processing of all tasks related to building affairs in the municipality.

• Evaluation and inspection of building applications according to municipal and cantonal building regulations
• Exchange and consultation with builders, architects, and planners
• Surety of compliance with all regulations, laws, and ordinances
• Technical guidance and supervision of municipal high-rise construction projects
• Preliminary preparation for the processing of applications in the town council
• Participation in urban planning and development projects of the municipality
• Administrative processing and management of the building permit procedure

You have a completed education in building (draftsman, architect, construction manager) and have further education as a construction manager FA (currently undergoing further education or willing to do so).

More years of professional experience in municipal building administration are advantageous.

Fundamental knowledge of Bernese building, planning, and administrative law
