Join us as a Construction Foreman in Palmerston North

We’re looking for a hands-on Pavements and General Construction Foreman to join our team. In this role, you’ll lead and supervise crews, manage daily site operations, ensure health and safety, and keep projects running smoothly. Day to day, you’ll coordinate resources, check the quality of work, communicate with subcontractors, and solve problems as they come up.

In addition to the above you will:

  • Monitor site safety and conduct toolbox talks with your team

  • Maintain accurate records of daily work and site progress

  • Liaise with project managers to update schedules and resolve any issues

  • Mentor and support crew members to build skills and encourage teamwork

We’re looking for someone with:

  • Minimum 5 years in civil construction

  • Knowledge of materials, methods and tools involved in road construction and maintenance

  • Minimum Class 1 licence with WTR endorsements

  • Experience with communication to and leading others
