Job description

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Estimator to join our project team within the real estate development and construction business, focusing on boutique hospitality assets. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing cost estimates, managing budgets, analyzing project costs, and supporting procurement and contract administration throughout the project lifecycle. You should be able to work independently on day-to-day tasks, coordinate with the project team when needed, and assist the project managers in ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget. Key Responsibilities: * Prepare accurate and comprehensive cost estimates for construction projects, including labor, materials, and equipment costs. * Analyze project plans, specifications, and other documents to determine project requirements. * Manage and track project budgets, ensuring that projects remain within budget throughout the project lifecycle. * Identify and assess potential cost risks and develop mitigation strategies. * Support the procurement and contract administration processes, including soliciting bids from subcontractors and suppliers, negotiating contracts, and managing change orders. * Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget. * Maintain detailed records of all estimates, budgets, and project costs. * Stay up-to-date on industry trends, new construction methods, and cost-saving opportunities. Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field. * Minimum of 3+ years of experience as an Estimator in the construction industry. * Experience with hospitality projects is a plus. * Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and costs. * Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction plans and specifications. * Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills. * Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., Bluebeam, Procore, or similar). * Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
