Construction Estimator - NSW Sutherland Shire

Full-time Construction Estimator position available with competitive salary. Work in a dynamic team on high-end projects that are predominantly in the Easten Suburbs with office based in Southerland shire NSW 2233, Australia. On behalf of Benchmark Constructions NSW, a well-established building and renovation company with over 25 years of experience, we are pleased to invite applications for a dedicated and skilled full-time Construction Estimator. The successful candidate will play a vital role in preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for a variety of residential and commercial construction projects. Responsibilities: * Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects, including material, labor, and equipment costs. * Analyze project plans, specifications, and other documentation to determine the scope of work. * Source and obtain quotes from subcontractors and suppliers. * Conduct site visits to assess project conditions and gather relevant information. * Prepare and present bid proposals to clients. * Negotiate with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain the best possible pricing. * Maintain accurate records of all estimates and related documentation. * Collaborate with project managers and other team members to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. Requirements: * Proven experience as a Construction Estimator, preferably within the Australian construction industry. * Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and processes. * Excellent analytical and mathematical skills. * Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., Buildertrend, Procore, or similar). * Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications. * Excellent communication and negotiation skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Strong organizational and time management skills.
