Organizational Development Consultant - E-volunteer

This assignment is located in: Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of the Congo Date of start: December 2025 Duration of the assignment: 6 months with possibility of extension Language requirements: French Level 5 - Full mastery Eligibility: Open only to citizens of the Democratic Republic of the Congo Cuso International is a non-governmental organization active in the international development sector since its creation in 1961, which has the mission of contributing to the development of individuals, communities and societies through the mobilization of volunteers and the implementation of projects that promote social justice, equality and human rights. The organization is seeking a consultant to support the development of organizational capacity in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. The consultant will work closely with local organizations to identify and address their organizational development needs, and to develop and implement strategies to improve their capacity to manage and deliver projects. The consultant will also provide training and coaching to local staff to enhance their skills and knowledge in organizational development. The consultant will be expected to work independently and as part of a team, and to maintain confidentiality and discretion in all aspects of the assignment. The consultant will be required to have a strong understanding of organizational development principles and practices, and to have experience working in the Democratic Republic of the Congo or a similar context. The consultant will also be required to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and to be able to work effectively with local organizations and stakeholders. The consultant will be expected to be flexible and adaptable, and to be able to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. The consultant will be required to have a strong commitment to the values and principles of Cuso International, and to be able to work in a way that is consistent with those values and principles. The consultant will be expected to be available to start the assignment in December 2025, and to be able to commit to the assignment for a minimum of 6 months. The consultant will be required to have a valid passport and to be able to obtain any necessary visas and travel documents. The consultant will be expected to be able to work in a way that is consistent with the laws and regulations of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, and to be able to maintain the highest standards of integrity and professionalism throughout the assignment. The consultant will be required to have a strong understanding of the principles and practices of organizational development, and to have experience working in the Democratic Republic of the Congo or a similar context.
