As a Senior Compensation Consultant in Global Remuneration, you will play a key role in analyzing, designing, optimizing, and evolving compensation and social benefits programs - including retirement. You will be recognized as an expert resource and act as a technical and strategic reference for business partners talent and culture and managers. You will have to translate data to issue high-value recommendations, while ensuring a rigorous alignment with business objectives. You will exercise direct influence on different hierarchical levels within the organization.
This position reports to the Principal Compensation Manager, Global Remuneration.
You can work from our Montreal, Laval, Longueuil, or Sherbrooke office. You will have the opportunity to participate in our hybrid work model, which includes flexible hours, telework, and two days per week at the office.
Main Responsibilities
- Act as a trusted advisor to business partners talent and culture and managers to identify strategic compensation issues and recommend concrete, innovative, and adapted solutions to business reality;
- Pilot large-scale projects (e.g.: salary structure refactoring, post-acquisition integration, digital transformation of compensation processes, etc.);
- Supervise annual salary review and action attribution processes;
- Lead equity maintenance exercises, including governance committee management, strategic analysis, and account rendering to key stakeholders;
- Prepare executive presentations, strategic recommendations, and clear communications for key stakeholders;
- Identify areas for improvement and actively participate in refining or implementing innovative compensation and social benefits programs;
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements while contributing to internal policy governance;
- Respond to complex employee requests regarding social benefits, including complex disability and remuneration cases, and manage special cases with our suppliers;
- Act as a resource person for compensation and social benefits for the team.
