Level 2 Prevention Counselor (Based in Brussels)

As a Prevention Counselor Level 2, you will be responsible for identifying and addressing the needs of vulnerable populations, developing and implementing prevention programs, and collaborating with local authorities and community organizations. Your main tasks will include: • Identifying and assessing the needs of vulnerable populations, including children, youth, adults, and seniors; • Developing and implementing prevention programs to address these needs, in collaboration with local authorities and community organizations; • Collaborating with social workers, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders to provide comprehensive support services; • Providing information, guidance, and counseling to individuals and families on issues related to housing, health, education, and employment; • Participating in the development of policies and programs aimed at improving the living conditions of vulnerable populations; • Maintaining accurate records and reports on program activities and outcomes. Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, or a related field; • 2 years of experience in prevention counseling or a related field; • Strong understanding of the needs and challenges faced by vulnerable populations; • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; • Ability to work independently and as part of a team; • Fluency in French and Dutch (written and spoken).
