Role of the confidential person:

The confidential person exercises his function fully independently. He only acts in situations that he handles, without receiving instructions from someone else. When he appears in his role as a confidential person, he is functionally connected to the internal service for prevention and protection at work.

The role of a confidential person is multifaceted:

• Employees who report that they are victims of violence, moral or sexual harassment at work or psychosocial risks receive and listen
• The employee advises and informs about the possibilities for intervention
• Act and collaborate in finding solutions within the framework of informal psychosocial interventions: meet with the involved persons, evaluate the possibilities for mediation, and if necessary mediate
• Direct people who indicate they want to request a formal psychosocial intervention to the prevention advisor for psychosocial aspects
• Provide the necessary elements for preparing the annual report and evaluating psychosocial risks (PSR)
• Collaborate with the various stakeholders in the field of prevention.
• Attentia will give you a training so that you can fulfill your role in accordance with the legislation.
• The role of confidential person is an additional responsibility for the person who retains their current function.
