Presentation Overview Our Client is a leading company in its sector, particularly attentive to sustainability and all green policies, also operating as a provider of an essential service for the local community through district heating. The biomass Thermal Power Plant represents a strategic asset both for internal production and for the provision of the public utility service. Job Title: STEAM GENERATOR OPERATOR Main Company Values • Sustainability; • Responsibility and Quality of Service; • Contribution to the Community. Organization Chart: • The resource will report directly to the Plant and Maintenance Manager for technical aspects and to the Human Resources Manager for administrative and management aspects. Main Responsibilities: • Management and supervision of industrial steam generators with biomass (max flow rate 20 tons/hour) and the correct operation of the entire Thermal Power Plant; • Monitoring of operating parameters (pressures, temperatures, levels, etc.) and immediate intervention in case of anomalies to ensure internal production and district heating continuity; • Management of the Thermal Power Plant control panels; • Control and management of biomass supply lines; • Chemical treatment and analysis of boiler water, in order to guarantee the efficiency and safety of the plants; • Execution of ordinary and preventive maintenance operations (lubrication, cleaning, minor mechanical adjustments); • Support to the maintenance team during scheduled shutdowns and extraordinary interventions; • Rigorous application of safety procedures and environmental regulations relating to the biomass plant; • Use of the mechanical shovel for the preparation of the wood biomass mix to be delivered to the Thermal Power Plant. Career Evolutions: For the first two years, the resource will operate with the same tasks as the existing team. Subsequently, the identified resource will be evaluated and trained for a potential future role as Head of the Thermal Power Plant. Technical Skills (Hard Skills): • Technical Diploma (preferably Mechanical, Thermotechnical or Electrical) or equivalent professional qualification; • Possession of the 1st or 2nd degree Patent for the operation of steam generators; Note: previous experience and proven reliability will be crucial evaluation elements, in particular for candidates with a 1st degree Patent, who will be inserted with the same tasks as the current team and will be evaluated for potential future development; • Previous experience of at least 2-3 years in the operation and management of thermal power plants or industrial steam generation plants; • Specific experience on biomass-fired plants or in the district heating sector will be a significant plus; • Knowledge of thermodynamic cycles and the operating principles of steam boilers; • Basic competence in mechanics, hydraulics and electrotechnics for diagnostics and first level intervention; • Ability to read and interpret plant diagrams. Personal Skills (Soft Skills): • Ability to honor the responsibility of continuous service (continuous cycle, holidays, Christmas) and to guarantee the operation of the plant, crucial for the public service; • Ability to maintain calm and decision-making effectiveness in critical or emergency situations (breakdowns, anomalies), typical of a 24/7 operating plant; • Spirit of initiative in reporting and proposing improvements to operating or maintenance procedures. • Strong motivation for professional growth; • Excellent integration into the Thermal Power Plant team and willingness to collaborate with other company functions (Maintenance, Production). • Residence or willingness to relocate to a geographical area close to the workplace. Contract conditions: • Place of work: strategic location in Roero, about 25 minutes by car from Asti and easy to reach the main centers of the provinces of Cuneo and Turin; • Working hours and work-life balance: Full-time, organized on 3 shifts in continuous cycle (H24/7), including night and public holidays. The Thermal Power Plant guarantees the continuity of the district heating service to the Municipality, operating uninterruptedly throughout the year, with the exception of the only scheduled closure of about 3 weeks in the month of August. Therefore, maximum availability and flexibility are required to work during key periods such as Christmas holidays and weekends, essential for the provision of the service to the community. • Contract type: Permanent. • Salary package on budget: Indicative gross annual salary €35,000.00. The economic offer will be commensurate with previous experience and, in particular, with the degree of Patent held: 2nd Degree Patent: The remuneration will be defined in line with the CCNL and the specific experience gained in the role, with the indicative gross annual salary of €35,000.00 as a reference point. 1st Degree Patent: For candidates with the highest qualification, although initially providing for insertion in the same tasks as the team, a higher economic recognition will be evaluated, considering the higher technical level and the prospect of future development. • Benefits: increased economic treatment for night work, holidays and continuous cycle, as provided for by the CCNL Legno Arredamento Industria; canteen service or disbursement of meal vouchers, based on the organization and shift; company welfare; insurance; attendance bonus.
