Our client is a large and well-established concrete contractor with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality FRP (Formwork, Reinforcement, Pour) projects and specialising in heavy refurbishment works across commercial, residential, and infrastructure sectors. Known for their commitment to safety, precision, and quality, they’ve built long-standing relationships with leading builders and developers. Due to a strong pipeline of upcoming projects, we’re seeking experienced Concrete Leading Hands and Foremen to join their growing team.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate daily operations of concreting and formwork teams on-site.
  • Ensure all work is completed to the highest standards, within budget, and on schedule.
  • Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and specifications.
  • Lead and mentor a team of concreters and formworkers, fostering a culture of safety and quality.
  • Liaise with site supervisors, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth workflow.
  • Monitor and manage the use of materials and equipment.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the concreting and formwork processes.
Key Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Leading Hand or Foreman in concreting and formwork.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of concreting techniques, materials, and tools.
  • Ability to read and understand construction plans and specifications.
  • Solid understanding of safety procedures and regulations in the construction industry.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • High attention to detail and a commitment to delivering quality work.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Relevant trade qualifications or certifications are highly desirable.
