Computer-Aided Design (CAD) Studies Generalist

Objective of the job:

· Perform 3D modeling, design annotations, dimensions, and metadata.

· Verify 3D interfaces for external design.

· Apply mechanical domain instructions, processes, and tools.

· Delivery within deadlines (Digital Mock-Up maturity)

· Conflict avoidance

· Respect weight allocation

· Modeling and storage of allocated volumes and interfaces for subsystems/components in Digital Mock-Up.

· Realize detailed design of internal subsystems.

· Realize 3D design annotations, deliverables, and 2D drawings in accordance with QCD commitments, trade rules, and processes.

· Fill attributes for each piece in Digital Mock-Up (name, material, Fire & Smoke, etc.)

· Verify numerical mockup coherence (absence of clash, etc.) and respect requirements (allocated volumes, weights, interfaces, etc.) within assigned perimeter.

· Prepare and document Mechanical Domain Design Reviews according to N+1 instructions.

· Update numerical mockup considering change requests.

· Verify quality of design for other CAD and subcontractors

· Realize stack-up analyses.

· Realization of nomenclature.

· Propose design optimizations (weight, cost, etc.)

· Support production teams during production ramp-up.

· Collaborate with Mechanical Domain Leader for continuous improvement (including RoE).

Conditions:

· min 3 years of relevant railway experience

· Knowledge of CATIA

· Experience in Interior/Mechanical and Cabine (nice to have)
