Aufgaben

Your tasks

• Computer-Vision-Lösungen develop, train, and operate productively, for example, for object recognition, quality control, classification, segmentation, or document and image analysis.
• Bild- und Videodaten aus Kameras, Unternehmenssystemen und bestehenden Datenquellen aufbereiten, analysieren und nutzbar machen
• Geeignete Modelle auswählen, trainieren, fine-tunen und evaluieren, zum Beispiel mit PyTorch, YOLO, OpenCV or comparable frameworks.
• Robuste ML-Pipelines build: data preparation, annotation, training, testing, evaluation, and continuous improvement.
• Modelle in real customer environments integrate, via APIs, backend systems, or edge hardware.
• Python-Backends und APIs for image processing, inference, and data integration develop.
• Existing customer processes understand and translate with project leadership and technical team into technical solutions.
• Deployment and operation of applications on Linux servers with Docker.
• Model quality and error patterns systematically measure, analyze, and improve.
• Create clean technical documentation and hand over solutions to customers or internal teams.
• Work closely with the development team, KI colleague team, project leadership, and customers.

Qualifikation

You bring this

Pflicht, without these points does not fit:

• Praktische Computer-Vision-Erfahrung: You have already implemented own projects, study projects, freelance work or professional experience with image processing and ML models.
• Python: Secure knowledge for data processing, model training, APIs, and productive code.
• Deep Learning for Image You understand at least the basics of CNNs, object detection, classification, and model evaluation.
• Computer-Vision-Frameworks: Experience with PyTorch and/or TensorFlow as well as OpenCV, YOLO or comparable tools.
• Datenaufbereitung: You can prepare image data structured, annotate, transform, and prepare for training and evaluation.
• ML-Pipelines: Understanding of training, fine-tuning, test sets, metrics, and the productive use of models.
• Docker and Linux: You can containerize applications and operate them in a Linux environment.
• Deutsch: Very good knowledge in word and writing, at least B2, preferably C1. You communicate with German customers and teams.

Von Vorteil:

• Experience with industrial image processing, camera systems or quality control.
• Experience with segmentation, OCR, document understanding or multimodal models.
• Knowledge in MLOps, for example MLflow, DVC, Weights & Biases, CI/CD or automated model evaluation.
• Experience with cloud or edge deployments, for example NVIDIA Jetson, AWS, Azure or comparable environments.
• Knowledge in REST APIs, FastAPI, databases and data pipelines.
• Experience with LLMs, RAG systems or the combination of image and speech models.
• Experience with customer projects, self-responsibility, and pragmatic solution development.
