Computer Network & Systems Engineer

Our client is a privately owned and operated, Telecommunication and Information Technology (IT) Solutions company incorporated in Australia. They provide eminence consultancy and managed services to clients in various fields of Telecommunication and Information Technology. We are seeking Computer Network & Systems Engineers to fill Full-time permanent roles in Gladstone, QLD. In this role as a Computer Network & Systems Engineer your daily duties will include - Design, build and maintain cloud infrastructure; Configure and troubleshoot network devices; Develop and implement network security protocols; Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless integration of systems; Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues; Provide technical support to clients; Conduct site visits to assess and improve network performance. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field; 3+ years of experience in computer networking and systems engineering; Strong understanding of cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform; Knowledge of network protocols including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, HTTP, FTP; Familiarity with network management tools such as Nagios, SolarWinds; Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware, Hyper-V; Understanding of security protocols and best practices; Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
