Computer Network & Systems Engineer - Passive & Active ICT

About the Role
Looking for independent and skilled Computer and Network Engineer to execute a variety of telecommunications and IT infrastructure projects. You will be responsible for on-site work, customer liaison, and ensuring high standards of safety and quality. This role requires hands-on experience and the ability to report project progress using mobile tools.
This role may require occasional evening and weekend work to accommodate client schedules
Required Skills & Qualifications
· Minimum 2 years' experience in Network infrastructure or similar field
· Valid Australian driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle suitable for carrying tools and equipment
· Willingness to use required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and follow safety protocols
· Experience in network and cable installation, Wi Fi setup, IT rack & stack.
· Familiarity with fibre and copper test equipment.
· Working knowledge of network transmission equipment and protocols
· Sound Information Tecvhnology skills including netowrk troubleshooting.
Preferred Skills
· Open cabling or electrician's license (preferred).
· Valid White Card.
· National Australian Police Clearance
· Full Australia Work Rights
Physical Fitness
· Working at Heights and Yellow Card certifications (advantageous).
· Ability to work independently and communicate effectively.
· Physical capability to lift up to 20kg and work in confined spaces
Key Responsibilities
· Execute field work across multiple projects independently.
· Provide regular project updates via tablet/mobile tools.
· Liaise with customers on-site and during project reviews.
· Ensure all work meets safety and quality standards.
