Computer Network and Systems Engineer

Infocus Holdings is a leading Australian supplier of security, surveillance, access control, alarm, CCTV and intercom solutions to the trade. The company provides innovative security technologies and technical support for commercial, industrial and residential projects throughout Australia, working with globally recognised brands including Bosch and Ajax Systems. As the business continues to expand its product portfolio and technical services, we are seeking an experienced Computer Network and Systems Engineer who will be responsible for designing, implementing, managing and maintaining computer networks and systems for our clients. This includes planning, configuring, testing and troubleshooting network infrastructure, as well as providing technical support and training to customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of computer networking protocols and technologies, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, HTTP, FTP, SMTP, POP3, IMAP, SSL/TLS, SSH, RDP, VNC, and other relevant protocols. They will also be familiar with network operating systems such as Windows Server, Linux, and Unix. In addition to technical skills, the successful candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. The role requires strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
