In the country since 2002, Arauco operates in the Forestry and Wood segments with the purpose of, from nature and renewable sources, contributing to people and the planet. It employs over 3000 own collaborators and has 5 Brazilian industrial units.

The plants are distributed between panel production, in three factories located in the cities of Jaguariaíva (PR), Ponta Grossa (PR) and Montenegro (RS); panels and moldings, in the plant located in Piên (PR); resins and chemicals, in the Araucária (PR) unit and, in 2027, it is preparing to inaugurate its first bleached pulp factory in Inocência (MS).

With an ESG-oriented operation, Arauco has FSC® (Forest Stewardship Council®) certification for its forests, which recognizes environmentally responsible, socially just, and economically viable management. The company was also the first in the world to receive Carbon Neutral certification in 2020, issued by Deloitte and audited by Price Waterhouse. Globally and in the country, it operates prioritizing responsible water management, biodiversity conservation, and carbon dioxide removal from the atmosphere.

Main activities:

• Perform purchases of maintenance services and production chain for the panel industry;
• Carry out the entire negotiation process, contracting, monitoring of registration, and supply of contracted services;
• Issue purchase orders;
• Adhere to Purchasing policies and guidelines, complying with SLAs;
• Monitor economic and market indicators relevant to their purchasing portfolios;
• Develop strategic sourcing projects for the categories in their portfolio;
• Evaluate and develop means to reduce supply risks within the categories worked in their portfolio;
• Request, negotiate, and validate supply contracts (commercial points);
• Develop improvement projects for the purchasing area and assist in the development of related processes;
• Develop new supply alternatives (supply models, alternative suppliers, supply options);
• Lead cost reduction projects, development, and homologation of new suppliers.

Requirements:

• Complete graduation in Engineering, Administration, or related areas;
• Knowledge of SAP system and Advanced Excel required;
• Experience with purchasing services for maintenance and production chain;
• Experience with bidding processes;
• Experience with project implementation;
• Experience in Industry required;
• Experience and/or knowledge in services related to planned maintenance shutdowns.
