SENIOR NATIONAL AND IMPORT BUYER

Work location: La Piedad in El Marques, Querétaro, in-person format.

KEY OBJECTIVES:

• Lead national and international purchases through strategic negotiations.
• Execute supply contracts, plan demand, and manage customs clearance.

HIGH-IMPACT STRATEGIES TO ACHIEVE:

• Create purchasing strategy in the development of strategic suppliers, contract negotiation considering currency vulnerability, analysis of international market behavior, proposals aligned with market behavior in the category.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES TO PERFORM:

• Analyze the national and international market behavior of raw materials in terms of costs, availability, and seasonality to develop sourcing proposals.
• Develop, implement, manage, and supervise purchasing strategies and procedures.
• Obtain quotes and negotiate contracts, rates, and delivery times with suppliers.
• Determine raw material inventory needs.
• Ensure product quality and compliance with specifications.
• Prepare cost estimates and savings plans.
• Develop and train the work team, implementing performance plans, measurements, and evaluations.
• Develop and implement new product projects.

CANDIDATE PROFILE AND EXPERIENCE:

• Completed degree in areas related to Foreign Trade, Supply Chain, and Logistics. Related specializations will be valued based on experience in the sector, functions, and additional related studies.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as an area leader in national and international purchasing. Experience in the food sector is a plus.
• BUSINESS ENGLISH ESSENTIAL.

• Salary: $42,000.00 gross monthly, negotiable according to experience (approximately between $33,591.37 net monthly).
