Packer Buyer (Eventual 6 months)

Objective Ensure the supply of packaging materials in the required quantity and time, as well as service and best possible cost guaranteeing the continuity of supply through the development and innovation of purchasing operations, as well as maintaining the relationship with suppliers that ensures competitive advantage for the business through compliance with standards, processes, policies and internal procedures. Job Responsibilities Develop projects that ensure efficiencies and/or savings in costs by optimizing packaging materials procurement processes, analyzing market trends and supplier offerings to identify opportunities for improvement, negotiating prices and terms with suppliers to achieve best possible cost, ensuring timely delivery of packaging materials, managing inventory levels and minimizing waste, identifying and implementing process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs, maintaining accurate records and reports on purchasing activities, and providing support to other departments as needed. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or related field, 3 years of experience in procurement or logistics, knowledge of packaging industry trends and suppliers, ability to analyze data and make informed decisions, excellent communication and negotiation skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, ability to work independently and as part of a team, flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities and deadlines.
