Senior Buyer

We are looking for a Senior Buyer with solid experience in retail purchasing, preferably in the automotive parts and accessories segment. We are looking for a professional with a strategic and commercial profile, capable of developing suppliers, negotiating the best market conditions, and ensuring store supply, balancing product availability, margin, and inventory turnover. Main responsibilities Develop and execute the purchasing strategy for the categories of automotive parts and accessories, ensuring alignment with sales and marketing goals. Supplier Management Identify, evaluate, and select new suppliers, negotiating contracts and service level agreements to ensure quality and competitive pricing. Relationship Management Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing suppliers, fostering partnerships that benefit the company. Market Analysis Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and economic factors that may impact purchasing decisions. Cost Optimization Analyze costs of goods, identify opportunities for reduction, and implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality. Inventory Management Collaborate with the logistics and sales teams to optimize inventory levels, minimizing stockouts and excess inventory. Performance Tracking Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for purchasing, such as cost savings, supplier performance, and inventory turnover. Reporting Prepare regular reports on purchasing activities, market analysis, and inventory status for senior management. Requirements and Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Administration, Economics, Engineering, or related fields. Proven experience as a Senior Buyer, preferably in the automotive parts and accessories retail sector. Strong negotiation and analytical skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strategic and commercial thinking. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel. Experience with ERP systems is a plus.
