- Leading the team of Security Analysts in the Security Operations Center
- Training and mentoring Security Analysts in the SOC Team on developing their cybersecurity knowledge, focusing areas, and ongoing understanding of the current threat landscape
- Reaction to incidents, providing security recommendations, and handling incidents as needed
- Ensuring compliance with internal guidelines, procedures, playbooks, and policies through the security team
- Maintaining and developing internal processes, security procedures, and remediation measures in accordance with company compliance requirements (e.g. GDPR, ISO27001, NIS 2)
- Identifying opportunities for improving SOC monitoring and detection based on current threat landscape, best practices, gained experiences, etc.
- Designing requirements and needs for technical implementation of use cases against internal SOC teams, with focus on active collaboration
- Counseling and steering procedural and technical security controls
- Counseling and guiding other teams within the company on established procedures and maintaining relevant and up-to-date industry knowledge
- Error correction and support in solving security problems
- Serving as a subject matter expert and primary escalation point for internal teams' security questions
- Preparing analysis and result reports for briefings to executive management
- Investigating, documenting, and reporting on information security issues and emerging trends
- Participation in developing and implementing security solutions for internal teams
