Compliance Officer

As Compliance Officer you are the conscientious professional who not only monitors and enforces laws and regulations, but also translates them into workable, understandable and future-proof frameworks. You function as a trusted advisor for management and colleagues and combines compliance expertise with legal sensitivity, policy and training. The role offers ample space to grow towards a broader Legal-focus. Key responsibilities Compliance & Laws and Regulations * Actively follow, interpret and apply laws and regulations in a way that is transparent, consistent and future-proof; * Ensure that all company activities are in line with applicable laws and regulations; * Develop and maintain policies, procedures and guidelines that ensure compliance with laws and regulations; * Provide guidance and support to management and colleagues on compliance-related matters; * Monitor and report on compliance risks and trends; * Collaborate with other departments to develop and implement effective compliance strategies; * Stay up-to-date with changes in laws and regulations and advise management and colleagues accordingly.
