For an important project in the Electrical-Electronic sector, we are looking for a Quality Compliance Engineer to join the Milan team, with a central role in regulatory compliance, product certification, and intellectual property activities.


What Will You Do? – Tasks

  • Manage the product homologation and certification processes with third-party bodies, including UL (USA), CSA (Canada), CQC (China), and EAC;
  • Support the company in evaluating the regulatory compliance of products and new technical solutions;
  • Analyze new solutions developed by the company to assess their patentability;
  • Contribute to the preparation of patent applications in Italy and abroad, following the relevant filing procedures;
  • Monitor and analyze the patent activity of competitors, collaborating with national and international patent consulting firms;
  • Draft responses to customer technical queries relating to regulatory implications and the scope of product application;
  • Follow the regulatory activities of various IEC committees and working groups, continuously updating the company's internal regulatory references;
  • Monitor the evolution of standards, regulations, and certification requirements applicable to products;
  • Collaborate with the R&D, Engineering, Quality, and Product Development teams to ensure product compliance with applicable requirements;
  • Support the management of technical and regulatory documentation required for certification and homologation processes.


What Are We Looking For? – Requirements

  • Technical degree, preferably in Electronic, Electrical, or Electrical Engineering;
  • Several years of experience in the industrial automation sector, preferably gained in R&D, industrial patents, or technical regulations;
  • Knowledge of product certification and regulatory compliance processes;
  • Familiarity with the world of IEC regulations and technical standards applicable to the electrical-electronic sector;
  • Interest and/or experience in the field of Intellectual Property and patent management;
  • Fluent knowledge of the English language, necessary for interacting with bodies, clients, and international stakeholders;
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • Precision in managing technical and regulatory documentation;
  • Good interpersonal skills and aptitude for working in international contexts.

The compensation for this role ranges from €30,000 to €40,000, plus a variable part to be agreed upon.

The position is classified within the framework of the CCNL Commercio e Terziario applied by our company.

The positioning within the range will be determined based on technical skills, specific experience in the role, and the outcomes of the selection process, according to objective and neutral criteria.

For profiles with exceptional characteristics compared to the indicated range, a review may be considered with prior internal approval.
