Compliance Analyst

Are you a proactive, detail-oriented professional with a passion for supporting high-performing teams? We’re looking for a Compliance Analyst to join our forward-thinking compliance team, based in our award-winning Auckland CBD office.

This role focuses on AML/CFT compliance, and risk management. Reporting to the Compliance and Operations Program Manager, with a dotted line to other teams, you will provide additional support across AML processes, conducting customer due diligence, and maintaining strong compliance frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

• Utilise workflow management platforms to conduct customer due diligence (CDD/ECDD).
• Review onboarding documentation and verify client identity and beneficial ownership.
• Maintain AML/CFT registers, records, and audit trails.
• Respond to AML-related queries from brokers and clients.
• Conduct quality assurance testing on AML processes and recommend improvements.
• Follow up with clients on missing or adverse information.
• Monitor transactions and manage AML/CFT processes.
• Assess Source of Wealth/Source of Funds documentation for adequacy under the AML/CFT Act.
• Assist with property listings and conduct brand compliance audits.
