Compensation & Organizational Development Specialist

Job description

We are a group of technology companies and are looking to incorporate a Compensation & Organizational Development Specialist.

We are looking for a profile with technical judgment and analytical capacity.


We operate several companies with very different profiles from each other: product, engineering, data, operations. This diversity corresponds to a formal compensation and growth model, and this position is the one that leads it.


You will work on the valuation methodology, the market-supported band structure, the performance cycle, and the group's growth paths.


Compensation

• Design and maintain the job catalog and the band structure with consistent valuation criteria.

• Prepare the technical opinion for each salary increase request, with the costed impact and comparison against the band.

• Analyze internal equity and salary compression, and propose adjustments to the business.

• Collect and analyze market compensation information for benchmarking by position, level, region, and sector.

• Draft and maintain compensation and benefits policies.


Organizational Development

• Design and operate the performance cycle: objectives per position, calibration with leaders, and consolidation of results.

• Define career plans and growth paths by area, with the requirements for advancing to the next level.

• Maintain the succession map for critical group positions.

• Identify development and training needs based on the cycle results.

• Draft evaluation and promotion policies.


️ What you will work with

• Cost modeling: salary impact scenarios, dispersion analysis, and market comparisons in spreadsheets.

• Market salary surveys and studies from compensation firms.

• Artificial intelligence tools to streamline structure modeling.

• Desirable: HRIS and data visualization tools.


What we need from you

• Completed degree in Administration, Economics, Actuarial Science, Industrial Engineering, Organizational Psychology, or related field.

• Three years or more in compensation, job evaluation, or organizational development.

• Proven experience in designing and administering job structures and salary bands.

• Mastery of valuation methodologies and management of salary surveys.

• Knowledge of the Federal Labor Law regarding working conditions, salary, and benefits.

• Desirable: experience in technology or multi-company environments, reading comprehension in English.

• Salary and evaluation information is handled with absolute discretion.

• On-site in Monterrey, Nuevo León, full-time.

• Within the Operations and Human Resources area.

• Direct interaction with leaders from all areas of the group.
