Job description
Hire Resolve's Client in the Investments Industry is seeking a dedicated full-time Company Secretary to join their team in Bellville, WC.
Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary point of contact for the board of directors, shareholders, and regulatory authorities
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations governing the company's operations
- Prepare and maintain corporate records, including meeting minutes, resolutions, and other legal documents
- Assist in the preparation of annual reports, financial statements, and other corporate filings
- Manage and facilitate communication between the board of directors, senior management, and external stakeholders
- Coordinate and organize board meetings, shareholder meetings, and other corporate events
- Stay informed about changes in regulations and laws that may affect the company's operations and advise senior management on compliance issues
- Handle any legal or regulatory issues that may arise, including contract negotiations, disputes with external parties, and intellectual property matters
Requirements:
Must have an appropriate degree.
A legal degree will be advantageous.
Ideal experience:
3-5 years of experience in related role;
Must have a good understanding of the Companies Act.
