URGENTLY HIRING - Community/Disability Support Worker

Availability:
  • Must be open for 2-hour services (mornings).

Requirements:
  • Current full Australian driver’s license and own car.
  • Comprehensive Car Insurance.
  • NDIS Workers Screening Check (Service NSW).
  • Valid First Aid & CPR Certificate.
  • Working with Children Check (WWCC).
  • Experienced in Manual Handling, challenging behaviours, and other high-care skills.
  • Previous experience in Disability Support or Assistant in Nursing (AIN).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

About the role:Your role is to provide exceptional service whilst supporting clients to meet their goals as set out in their NDIS plan.

This includes but is not limited to:
  • Intensive, flexible, and responsive client-focused support with the aim of assisting clients to successfully improve their physical and mental health.
  • Develop connections with the community, and achieve their goals.
  • Assist in their needs of daily living, domestic assistance, social support, transport, community outings, and so on.
  • Willing to do both Support Work and Assistant in Nursing.
  • Willing to be on-call and travel to different areas.

This is a casual employment position offering an attractive hourly rate depending on experience and availability.
