Community/Disability Support Worker

About the Role: We’re looking for passionate and reliable Community/Disability Support Workers to join our friendly and growing team on a casual basis in the Northern Beaches Area . If you're caring, energetic, and love making a positive difference in people’s lives, we’d love to hear from you! What We’re Looking For: Fluent English speaker with excellent communication skills. Experience with manual handling, high-care support, and challenging behaviours. Prior experience as a Disability Support Worker is highly regarded. You will be working with individuals with a range of disabilities, including physical, intellectual, and psychiatric disabilities. You will be required to provide support with daily living tasks, personal care, and community access. You will also be required to work with individuals who have complex needs, including those with challenging behaviours. You will be working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, and you will be required to be flexible and adaptable. You will be working as part of a team to provide support and care to individuals with disabilities. You will be required to maintain accurate records and reports, and to participate in regular team meetings and training sessions. You will also be required to work in accordance with the organisation’s policies and procedures, and to maintain confidentiality and discretion at all times. What We Offer: Competitive hourly rate.
