Join a Caring Team Supporting People with Disabilities and Complex Care Flexible Shifts, Meaningful Work, Real Impact About the Position | Te Mahi We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Community Support Workers to provide support to clients with intellectual disabilities, autism, complex health needs, and other care requirements. This role involves delivering personal care, assistance with daily living activities, and providing emotional support to clients. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans, and provide support to clients in their own homes, in the community, and in residential settings. Key Responsibilities | Ngā Kaha Whakaaro Provide personal care and assistance with daily living activities, including showering, dressing, and toileting. Assist clients with mobility and transfers, including using hoists and slings. Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, and engage in activities that promote social interaction and community participation. Assist clients with meal preparation, cooking, and eating, and provide support with medication management. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to develop and implement individualized care plans. Provide support to clients in their own homes, in the community, and in residential settings. Maintain accurate records and reports, and contribute to the development of policies and procedures. Requirements | Ngā Whakaritenga A current New Zealand driver's license. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays. Ability to lift and move clients, and use hoists and slings. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and prioritize tasks effectively. Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to professional boundaries.
