Community Social Worker Full Time (fixed term) Position Thames-Coromandel and Hauraki Districts Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of whānau within your local communities? This may be the role for you? This position is a fixed term opportunity for 12 months, with the possibility of extension. The role is based in the Thames-Coromandel and Hauraki Districts, and you will be required to work from home and in the community. You will be part of a team that provides support to whānau, and you will be expected to work collaboratively with other team members, stakeholders, and whānau. The role involves providing support to whānau, including providing information, support, and referrals. You will also be required to work with other agencies and stakeholders to provide a coordinated response to whānau. The role requires a high level of cultural competence, and you will be expected to work in a way that is respectful of the cultures and values of the whānau you work with. You will also be required to work in a way that is responsive to the needs of the whānau, and you will be expected to be flexible and adaptable in your approach. The role is full time, and you will be required to work 40 hours per week. You will also be required to work outside of normal working hours, including evenings and weekends, as required. The role is a fixed term opportunity, and you will be required to commit to the full term of the role.
