As a community manager, you will be our first point of contact for our members and play a central role in the further development of the association. You will manage our growing community from startups, established companies, research, and politics through digital platforms, newsletter formats, and events – online and offline. Your workplace is located at the Innovation Park Artificial Intelligence (IPAI) in Heilbronn – here one of the largest ecosystems for artificial intelligence in Europe is being created. Here you will be directly involved with startups, companies, research institutions, politics, and investors. You network regional and supra-regional actors and shape the AI ecosystem not only digitally but also actively on site.

Aufgaben

• Community-Aufbau und -Aktivierung: You are responsible for onboarding and activating our members. In this context, you develop formats and speeches that motivate active participation.
• Mitgliederbindung: You drive our mission forward in the KI community and develop formats and offers to bind our members long-term.
• Mitgliedergewinnung: You identify potential members and present the benefits of membership.
• Vernetzung und Engagement: As an interface, you network projects, partners, office, and community and foster exchange among each other – both digitally and at the IPAI location in Heilbronn directly involved with regional and supra-regional actors from business, research, and politics. Additionally, you keep member needs in mind and continuously optimize our offers.
• Content und Kommunikation: Identification, selection, and creation of relevant content for our members. Furthermore, you develop communication strategies to address and activate the members.

Qualifikation

• You have a completed degree in the field of communication or a comparable professional qualification.
• You bring first experiences in community management, ideally in the startup environment. Success balances in building, activating, and scaling communities are a plus.
• Practical experience with community management platforms and digital collaboration tools.
• You have a basic understanding of AI technologies and their application areas.
• Outstanding networking skills and strong communication skills as well as empathy for different stakeholder perspectives
• Structured thinking, organization, and self-initiative are second nature to you.
• You enjoy working in a small, dynamic, and highly motivated team.
